Any truth Cam to the long range stuff I have been seeing online? Basically no warmth in sight?

There is warmth but just nothing consistent or well above.

Looks like the Jet stream will keep digging down and moving out next 2 weeks which means there will be warm ups but only to seasonable temps or slightly above normal but then cold front comes through and knocks us down.

The air mass aloft wont be as cold as we got this weekend.

Lots of storms/rain chances next 2 weeks too

Did you see the Freeze Warnings down south for this morning?
Spoiler

Here were the 6am temps.

weather.com shows about 45 or so for New Britain's 06052. Quietly, the day hit the 13 hour mark yesterday. Today's times are 6:22 AM and 7:24 PM (13 hours 2 minutes). I think the day became longer as recently as Saint Patrick's Day.

On that sun note... funny how in less than 3 months the days will start getting shorter. Feels like winter hasnt even ended yet. Lol

On the 2nd sun note... if it wasnt as high in the sky max temps would stay in the 30s

Upton:

National Weather Service New York NY
750 AM EDT Sun Apr 8 2018

(5000' temps) H85 temps remain between -8C to -11C across the area although
the combination of deep mixing, downsloping and the April sun
angle will help lift temperatures into the mid to upper 40s.

This is still around 10 degrees below normal.

The high builds OHD tonight as the aforementioned low
strengthens tracks towards the Canadian Maritimes. Gusts around
20mph continue into the eve but should abate by 06z as the CAA
wanes. Chilly night in store with the potential for ideal
radiational cooling conds, especially west. If winds fully
decouple across Long Island and SE CT, could see some readings
in the teens around daybreak under mostly clear skies.
Teens!!
