80s isnt hot for May? Lol
The airmass south of this cold front has given 80s and 90s to Ohio Valley & Mid Atlantic past couple days.

We'll see if the line holds up later. Typically the coast grts the marine influence which breaks apart storms but these will be moving in from the NW and may happen after sunset which marine layer isnt as strong.

Litchfield county has bigger risk

2:30pm map... the line has formed.

Yellow boxes on the line is Thunderstorm Warning.
Red boxes are Tornado Warnings.

Orange shading is Thunderstorm Watch
Pink Shading is Tornado Watch

Can you feel the humidity?? Dewpoints in the 60s! Feels so muggy, not enjoyable with temps over 80.

Areas within upstate NY reported tennis ball sized hail. NBC CT just stated that the storm diminished its intensity just slightly. Should be an interesting hour.
