Google maps traffic data shows that hardest hit areas really well. Looks like Danbury straight East to Wallingford got hit really hard. Also, looks like Southbury has a lot of damage.

I live right by the route 5 sign below the Wallingford name on that map. As I said I had both kids in the basement, my wife was at work in a hallway with her coworkers. I went to check a couple of times quick and could not see out the window they looked as if they were opaque. Closer look and trees were going wild. No pics as my daughter had my phone to keep her occupied. Lights flickered but thankfully we did not lose power here, not so fortunate around the corner where trees and lines were down at every turn. Even 91S had a tree across 2 lanes. I actually saw the bolt of lightening that cause the tree to fall. Crazy stuff.

Bethel schools cancelled tomorrow. and DANBURY too.

Idk why but doesn't it seem like tornadoes are occuring in the State more often now. Just starting to notice tornadoes in CT.

Wallingford schools closed as well. Looked up tornadoes in Wallingford, apparently there was an F4 in 1878

right, thanks. All one needs is a Google. Lol. I think the average for CT is 2/yr? Which means it happens. Theres been other decades with more
