Long day. Hot and humid today but oddly enough with wind. .. Saw no maps or radar. Thundersnow right now. Distant thunder downpour.. Good, no sprinkler needed. Thank you mother nature.

I noticed 2 odd things today. Wind and clouds.

Lets thank the ice above. Or maybe the volcanoes? Or low solar output? Things that make you go hmmm.

I double checked, on 31 month days, the chart goes all the way to the rightmost line. The one I posted is showing to 11:59pm June 30. I got it from Wunderground. Good catch though!
I could've sworn I saw data for the 31, but maybe not.....

Most schools do have fans in the rooms now too, usually it is the teachers who buy them and bring them in but sometimes the schools do.

Yeah, it wasn't nearly as hot (though quite humid) as I thought it would be. Could be any of them of them if you ask me. I've asked in other forums about the volcanoes in Hawaii and Guatemala, experts insist they are not big enough eruptions to put the ash, etc. high enough in the atmosphere to do the cooling that say Krakatoa in the 1880s or Pinatubo in 1992 did, but we'll see....

Thundersnow? Do you mean hail?

Super busy, Super Humid this morning.

Did you guys know the Dew points (which measure how muggy or dry it is) can be used to know where the minimum temps are in general?

7am Dew points. Low temps in the 70s in many areas this morning. WARM & HUMID!

Yesterdays Thunderstorm and overnight rain dropped over 3/4" in Ridgefield and Shelton! Lucky them. 0.70" for Newtown. North and south of the green lines seems to have gotten screeed!

3:25pm Temp and Satellite Map.. Its hot with skies clean. Weird.

It's so nice that fronts are able to push south of us. It's residually hot in the 80s today but......

Look at the airmass north of the cold front. DRY DEWS! Another rare Summer Day with dews in the low 50s and temps in the mid-upper 80s! That's why Skies are clearer today vs yesterday. I was wondering about that

Surface Map. Thank You Ontario High Pressure and Cold Front! This is why the Mid Atlantic sees more prolonged heat than Northeast, fronts don't push that far that fast in Summer

Interesting its 88 at Tweed New Haven and 83 Bradley. Usually its the complete opposite. Im guessing its because of the winds out of the NW. That right Cam?
