Tame storm. Only 20 thunderclaps so far, all which sound like they are cloud-to-cloud. Heavy rain seems to be the only threat.

0.42" at 10:00 PM. Not including the 0.05" that fell during the morning showers.

I would say good grief. I’m glad it’s only raining a little not a lot but what about blue skies and dry sunny air? I forgot what that feels like. It’s like something you only see in fiction books.

Look at any photos you have of July 8, 2018 because that was a sunny low humidity warm day we haven’t seen the likes of since and won’t until June of 2019, a kind of day that the southeast will be seeing on a regular basis all winter long with no special distinction.

It’s something most of the country calls a good day to walk outside, and we call a solar eclipse with a blue moon.

What an awesome morning. 60s. Sunny. Some clouds around. Dry. Breezy.

We should all be happy we don't live in the Southeast

Yes it’s about time! This is the definition of Fall weather. This is where we are supposed to get our revenge for the punishing teases of March-April.

Nice evening with temps in the 60s & dews in the 50s but I couldnt be outside more than 30 minutes without getting bit. Tons of bugs & mosquitoes around. Ground very saturated. Standing water this month not drying out.

I found some in a pot. On a tarp. In a divot.

I should have known when I checked the radar image rain was around. Here we go again. Going over 11" for the month.
