Another Storm. Another Waste. Another Week.

Currently there are Blizzard Warnings in Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota as this storm tracks from the South West towards Lake Huron/Superior and into Quebec. We are on the wrong side of it! Warm and rain coming.

And the Euro now says Rain for New Years Eve, not snow. March is in 2 months!

Current Radar. Heavy snow in Kansas. Squall line crossing into Louisiana with a Thunderstorm warning. Rain should start in CT tonight. Could be snow/ice/sleet around for a little bit especially for northern parts of our state.

Cambium - you win some, you lose some.

8 or so weeks yet to get snow, don't worry yet.

If not, time to think of moving further north.

He needs to move to the Great Lakes' snow belt. When I lived in the Cleveland eastern suburbs for 6 years, even in a "mild" winter we'd end up with 40"+ of snow!

NWS actually does seem to be starting to suggest possibility of snow for Jan 3-4. Any knowledge on that?

Since 1905 in Hartford, theres only been 5 Decembers with less than 0.3" of snow.

1927 T
2006 T
2011 T
1953 0.1"
2018 0.2"

So sad.
