Went down and buttoned up the boat after work! Guess I'll be going down there again tomorrow to check out the winds and rain. I usually don't plug her in, but tomorrow may do it just incase the bilge gets some rain it. Thank you for the updates! Didn't realize the wind was going to be a problem!

Radar looking raggedy. What else is new. Lets see as it gets closer if it can draw up some Atlantic moisture. Moving in now. Winds gusting to 20mph here.

2-6am loop

I was going to say, looks less impressive than before on radar like it weakened, but as you say, maybe drawing up Atlantic moisture changes that. We'll see.....

6amEST temps. Warmer here and in Montreal than the gulf coast states except Florida of course. 68° outside. #WhatHappenedToOctoberThisYear!??

Just look at the Upper Heights to see why (500mb).

Aside from the clouds, we still are under the ridge in New England eastern Canada. Note the trough digging down to Gulf coast bringing down cooler air aloft which is cooling the surface. But just to seasonable temps for now. Next shot will be colder.

Upper Low centered over Chicago now. No wonder why max temps will be 40s today and tomorrow there.

The 2" BDR streak might live on.

Next chance of rain will be Sunday-Monday and then that's when Fall arrives with colder air.
Snowstorm for parts of Minnesota/Michigan/Ontario this Friday.

Even with yesterdays heat 2007 still is warmer. 1990 similar. NYC, Bridgeport, Hartford

Got high winds blowing all the leaves off, not a drop of water to be found. Rubbish. I was hoping for a nice rainy day.
