There's some ice here in Berlin (Newington town line), but said ice is minimal. No power issues. 24 for New Britain's 06052, according to weather(dot)com.


8:03 AM on Saturday morning. Seems like 24+ days ago now.

This second shot was at 1:50 PM from a relatives place in Berlin (Newington town line). See? No more than 4 inches and the freezing rain glaze on top.

He's talking about some wind and the 5 degree low overnight. Sitting on a boat right now, wind has def picked up and temps dropping. Have the local fire dispatch radio going, nothing much to report other than a Street in Norwalk has lost power and eversource is "busy in other parts of the state" Yikes!

Friday 25th: Light snow, cold enough to stick and make it slick
