I can tell you that the stat for Boston is misleading. That's true at Logan which is right on the water, but in the suburbs especially north & west (but still within the 128 loop) the totals are closer to 30". Heck, we got a fluffy 4" just last night!

Saturday is starting to trend to a significant storm with maybe the biggest snow amounts this winter.

Suburbs of NYC and Hartford have more than the NYC and Hartford airports too. Always happens. Is what it is for Boston.

Suburbs of Boston avg higher than logan so they are below norm too. But the list shows how crazy points south have more than points north

I wouldnt think Hartford would have a big city vs suburb difference....nowhere near as big an "urban heat island" effect as NYC and Boston and those two cities partially have a city vs suburb difference due to the city being on the water and many of the suburbs being inland.

So you dont think East Windsor, Suffield, Granby, Enfield would have more than BDL? Maybe. I'll have to check. The airports are always warmer than outside there. Even that first few minutes of non sticking would matter.
