That's it, I'm moving down south! (not Florida though, lol)

Colder in south Texas and Gulf coast states than CT.

Save this link. Actual current temps: 9amEST

So........... Is this Tropical Storm Philippe preventing the front from pushing passed us OR is the front preventing Philippe from going OTS? Which came first, the Front Chicken or the Philippe Egg? lol

Nah, you want to be in Minnesota. I'm in the Twin Cities this weekend. Bone-chilling 33 F plus wind chill this morning...remnants of Friday's snow here & there.

Check out our Dew points. Well above normal muggy 60s while its well below normal dry 30s down south. Jet stream diving south but we are on the east side of the whole dig

Great time for a Satellite glitch.

8:30am-12:30pm loop

Lots of moisture still coming from the Tropics.. New Low will soon form off the coast and blow up because the Jet stream is tilting negative (Yes, THE SETUP IS similar to what happened with Sandy, not the results or storm!. This setup happens when timing is right)

See how it's tilted? We're getting that south flow. As the entire trough swings it will catch this storm

A post doesn't do justice. A video is needed to explain what's happening.

Speaking of video... Take a listen if interested.

Yup. They'll gradually pick up than in a few hrs it should really ramp up as the storm gets it's act together and starts dropping its pressure.

This... They're so fast to name tropical systems. Looks like the front already absorbed Philippe but I don't remember seeing anything that looked like a Tropical storm down there

1.25" total so far. Didn't expect this to be so steady this morning and today. I might actually get over 2-3" now if tonights downpours happen. Wow.
