I was sitting on the deck tonight, with a sweatshirt. Kind of unbelievable that it's the end of May and still "cold".

Had a heavy rain shower at 1am. Less than 0.10" fell.

Check out these 7am temps! Loving these warm morning. Enough to open the windows and doors and keep them open!

Pattern definitely changed after Mid May.

Jet stream dipping in the West for past 2 weeks breaking Cold and Snow records (hence why our pattern changed) and it went north enough to where we are on the warmer side and dryer.

Tomorrow..............

The ground looked a bit damp here by the Berlin/Newington town line. After checking the numbers with Hartford and Brainard, they saw nothing.

Radar Loop past 12hrs. Look at that line coming across PA, then watch it go POOF over Northern CT. In fact there was rain over the CT border in MA but nothing in Hartford. Note SW CT did get some. Ridgefield with 1/4"

The time stamp is in GMT time. So 12amGMT = 8am. 5amGMT = 1am.

I was well aware of the line in Syracuse. The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders (AAA-level Yankees) were delayed by at least 1 1/2 hours in the 5th inning or so in central NY. They "only" won the game 15-12!

The pitchers must have used the rain delay to get drunk?

I was stacking some wood and doing garden stuff and I started getting uncomfortable fast. I knew this was the reason!

Can we get spring? Not summer, nor winter.

85 UGH!

I'd love days in the 60s, several in a row, without rain, please.

Any such pattern on the horizon, Cambium?

BDL has reached 90 today, so far no one else has (I think next highest in the Tri-State area and southern New England is Newark which got to 88 as of this point).

UPDATE: Newark also got to 90 around 4pm. No one else in New England or the tri-state has as far as I can see.

Was just at the beach to take a storm pic and it was pretty crowded but everyone enjoying the day I guess.

Guess what... Raining in SW CT again

Thunderstorm just missed Westchester. Went south.

What a day. No thanks.
