I remember one June I think in 2015 I had to start the wood stove. That's a rare moment right there. Maybe these late cold shots will get more common and like how May is needing heat once in a while, June will be in the future

I am in shock that the second game didn't get delayed! (Just some diamond dry at home plate and the pitcher's mound a couple of times.) It was so depressing to easily see my breath, considering that New Britain was 87 on Sunday and around 80 on Monday. It couldn't have been any higher than the low 50s.

Love your stories and relating it to weather. It's pleasing to read. I do miss your sunrise/sunset times. Soon it will set earlier, right?

Ok, that's twice. 1st with the vivid Forsythias, now with the Puffy Rhodos. For both of us to see this, I guess it's not just my fertilizing. lol

Sure...the days will get shorter when one of these things happen:

1- This Ma(y)rch pattern breaks

OR

2- We make it to Friday, June 21st at 11:54 am EDT. That's the summer solstice, of course.

😊☀

You know what today is? It's just another day on the calendar and that means rain.

We just wake up everyday knowing its going to rain.

Just pick a day on the calendar and figure its going to rain.

It sprinkled leaving the sandwich shop on the Newington/Berlin town line at 7:15 PM. Barely 30 seconds before I got into the door to where I'm staying east of there, it started to open up. The skies...then the door. Great timing!

What light?

Tuesday, I think it was, I woke up to full sun at 5:30am and it was warm! I nearly jumped out of bed to go for a ride. For some stupid reason I talked myself out of it.

Atrociously bad fog. Submitted a report to OKX pleading for a Dense Fog Advisory over here... worst I've seen here in years.

Over 1". That means almost 6.5" this May.

Also BDR day #18 with rain. Ties record with 2004.
Dont forget they had 19 in April which broke the record.

NYC has 20 days this month. Also ties a record.

It rained after midnight at both BDR and Central Park/NYC, so record is now broken
