You realize 73 is the extreme end of humidity for us? We never have dews in the upper 70s and 80s. So Low to Mid 70s is on the high end. It's as humid as you'll get out there. Maybe it's the heat that bothers you. So like 90s?

I like this tracker. Everyone will have a different opinion but this makes most sense. Although in Spring-Fall and Winter 50 is not refreshing. lol

Great find here!!

https://www.weather.gov/box/dewpoint

All time record for Dewpoint in Hartford is 82 back in August of 2002.
All time record for Dewpoint in Bridgeport is 80 back in August of 1979

The lowest Summer Dewpoint at Bridgeport was 21°F June 6, 1958. WOW!

Great find, thanks! Funny how they (thankfully!) included BDR in that, a vestige from several years ago when all of CT was under BOX until they transferred the counties that touch the Sound to OKX, even though the records shown still seem to be current (well, it says to 2014)

I wonder if those records will be challenged tomorrow or Sunday....I heard that both Chicago and Minneapolis had dews of 80 today! (And JFK Airport had one of 78....they were weird today....they never got higher than 84 but had humidities over 80% all day, ouch! Weird reverse of yesterday when they had a high of 86 and everyone north of there didn't get out of the 70s)

At 10am it's in the 80s with dews in the 70s. Wow!

Chester reporting a temp of 91° with a dewpoint of 75. Feels like 103° there at 10am. Not sure if that's 100% accurate. Maybe. I see other 90s around. It's an automatic station. Maybe a Jet plane just flew near it. lol

Danbury temp 86° with a dew of 74°, feels like 94° at 10am.

it's 89° in Providence with a dewpoint of 77°. Feels like 102° at 10am.
Even the Island of Nantucket it's 87° with a dewpoint of 77°.

inside is holding low 70s nicely! I don't expect that to last. I just hate living in a cave.

Did an early morning ride - even more soupy in the woods! Had to mow the back yard too. Also put both ACs back on around 10am

Awful day in open areas. At least in the woods it is much cooler.
