Omg. I'm jealous of that mowing chart. *adds to to-do list for next year*
So many weeds here, too little sun for grass to work. A mix of grass/weeds/moss works well, and they don't tend to grow tall so not much mowing needed. The moss does work well through the winter months though

It's pure silliness. Flipping a coin is as accurate as that book.

A coin is 50% right Right? They claim they are 80% right on average. . 83% last year. Try to beat that! lol.

Keep in mind, this is the Old Farmers Almanac numbers. Not sure what the new Farmers Almanac is.

Last sentence in 1st paragraph February ruined the cold winter avg because February was well above normal. All it takes is 1 month to ruin a season average.

Here is their forecast for the Northeast and Atlantic Corridor just to have on file.

And how they do it.

And here is their forecast. Different from the other. Total opposite for us.

A few drops of rain at NC town center. Nothing up in "the corner"

Came back home to see the wood stove lit! Thinking a bit too early but I guess it's good to "prime" it for the season photo edited slightly to bring out wood texture / for fun

Jesus. Even the Farmer's Almanac is getting dramatic in their descriptions. Pretty soon they will have their own Snow Monster.
