Hey, I coach @ Warde

And football divisions are determined by school size. LL (the big schools. Think Shelton, Greenwich, Danbury, Ridgefield, Staples, Southington), L (not as big as LL, but still a good size. Masuk, New Britain, Windsor, New London), M (getting into the smaller towns; Killingly, Branford, Waterford, Watertown), and then class S (the small country towns & private schools: Canton, Trinity Catholic, St. Joes, Ansonia)

Wait, New Britain is in the same division as Masuk? New Britain has 2,400 students, Masuk has just over 1,000. That is a big difference. I had heard people questioning the recent reorganization of the athletic divisions. Now I see why. Does not seem well thought out. Jay

New Britian is in LL. 7express had a typo in there (maybe meant New Canaan?)
