I'm currently residing in Connecticut but lack a permanent address. I'm the owner of a vehicle which currently has a temporary 2-month registration from PA which expires in 20 days. I'll need to permanently register my car but to my knowledge lack the means to do so; I don't have an address I can use in CT, and my current license was issued by AZ so registering there is infeasible. Is there a way to circumvent the address issue? Do states grant allowances for the houseless in scenarios such as these?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Do you have a PO box? Still it means nothing if you don't even have the money to register the car in the first place. Jay

You could try using that. Check the DMV website to see if it accepts that. You may need to call them though. Good luck, Jay

Could you use a friend's (good friend) address? You do realize to register your car you will also need proof of insurance, which will require an address as well.

Yup.

No, or I'd have done that. The car is currently insured with a provider in AZ.

Use a friend’s address. While you’re at it, if the car is less than 10/11 years old, sign up for Uber and start making money.

The DMV won't accept a PO Box as your address. Also, uber requires a 4-door car if you try that route.
