That section of Vernon is nice and close to Bolton.
There is easy access to I84 from Tunnel Rd. It does get busy though if you're near the Rt. 30 Tunnel Rd intersection during the rush hours.

Until the OP needs the services of a Hospital, Town Hall or the Court system they'll be no need to venture to the sketchy parts of Rockville.

I used to live in Vernon. Went to the Rockville Library all the time. Lived to tell about it!

You guys are making Rockville sound like South Central LA.

I lived in Rockville for a few years, never had any problems & the neighbors were very nice.
I moved to Hazardville only to shorten my commute to work in Bloomfield.

I have to agree I make fun because of some bad experiences there as a teenager but really it's fine most of the time. I have no problem going down there but I'm not sure I would want to live in Rockville.

Be very careful buying in Vernon or any town within 30 miles of Stafford Springs. Crumbling basements are a very real problem and will affect everyone's mil rate and property values for years to come

AnnieCt, do you know what years the houses with the crumbling foundations were built?

Thanks, Sarah
