I could be wrong, but I don't think Weston even has a synagogue. Plenty of Darien residents attend synagogues in neighboring Stamford or Norwalk so its a nonissue.

Temple Israel is on Colytown Road in Westport which is not far from the Weston town line. Jay

Right, but not in Weston.. I'm saying it's the same thing. Agudath Sholom Synagogue in Stamford is 1 mile from Darien, and Temple Shalom in Norwalk is 2 miles from Darien.

I think we have decided on Westport. We have friends who live there (a few of my college friends live there with their families) and all around it works for us.

Next question is what are the best areas in Westport? Or are they all great? I’ve heard of Coleytown and Hunt Club so far. Any others?

I live in Coleytown and its great if you like quietness and lots of space. This also comes with a lot of upkeep and maintenance as its zoned for 2+acres. Hunt Club is basically the same as Coleytown albeit 3 min closer to Rt 1, and the Hunt Club. You get the quietness and you're only 15 min to compo beach. Also, Christies and Wakeman town Farm are excellent. And you're pretty close to North St where the schools are.

All areas in Westport are nice aside from Hale St area and some streets in Saugatuck (Sunrise and streets near Gault).
