Hi, I'm doing a lot of research in Northeastern States, and I find out that one of the good places to live in Maine is Portland, in MASS Beverly.

If from TN- CT is the southernmost New England state, that perhaps offers the most variety. Southwestern CT is more closely aligned to the New York area, but still maintains its New England heritage. New Haven has Yale, and much in bio tech and health care, as well as the arts. With some fine towns nearby as Jay mentioned-Milford to the west, while Branford and Guilford to the east along the CT shoreline.
