You can buy and smoke in CT. You cannot legally transport it over state lines or within CT and smoking within CT is illegal (but decriminalized) unless for medical purposes.

I saw this in my TrumbullPatch.

"Still possessing a small amount of marijuana will result in a fine while a larger amount will result in an arrest," State Police said in a statement. "We also don't suggest trying to sneak it onto a plane or in your luggage during your holiday travels because marijuana is illegal under federal law, even in states that legalize it."

No, you cannot legally buy weed in CT. The exception is if you have a medical marijuana card.

Don’t buy more than a half ounce. Which is a lot for most people.

That's what I thought, but they haven't updated that info on their website.

You can now reserve your recreational purchase ahead of time at NETA in Northhampton online. No waiting in line. Just walk up and pick it up.

Also, I have alot of family in the Northhampton area. They are saying almost all the customers to NETA in Northhampton are out of state residents. Since MA residents can legally grow their own there is tons of it for cheap/practically free on the black market tax free and a fraction of the price.

This makes me laugh. The laws, across states, are SO all over.

You can literally fly out of LAX with weed. LAX released a statement--TSA is federal, but as they cannot arrest, they refer to the local police...which is LAPD. LAPD will just let you go...so TSA here just doesn't care. So basically, I can fly out of LAX and into Logan, with weed, and not have an issue. Flying into Bradley or JFK, maybe be a different story....but honestly, only if your checked baggage contains anything.

I know quite a few friends who have MM in CT, as well as friends in MA who now get it recreationally.

Extra points for LA in the Bud-cation Location Contest....

But if you want to know about other state laws... https://norml.org/states

And even if Alabama is not your destination.... If someone does something stooopid on your flight and you have to land there... the dogs come on board, you may just be collateral damage.
