Good Morning Everyone,
With so many people coming into CT, I wanted to make everyone aware of a site that can be of great help. It was launched March 12 so alot of people are not aware of it. It gives everyone free access to all the properties listed on the CTMLS. Feel free to peruse it. I may be violating the rules by saying this but if anybody has a questions, please feel free to email me directly. Also, if the property you are interested in is vacant, I can take a video of it if you are coming to CT and are desperate.
Welcome to our state!!
Sincerely,
Julia

As I mentioned in another thread, CTReal.com Home doesn't list properties in southwestern Connecticut (Greater Fairfield County) unless the property is also listed on the Connecticut Statewide MLS (CTMLS).
No problem. I wish this situation (5 MLS's) didn't exist, but it does. Data sharing is on the horizon. The GFC CMLS finally added the remainder of Connecticut towns for this to happen. Actually, they made 39 errors that I pointed out to them, and they corrected. Their comment was that an out-of-state vendor provided the list of Connecticut cities and towns. What's wrong with this picture?
Q: Data sharing with GFC CMLS (Greater Fairfield County CMLS) will include CTREAL.com?
A: No. CTREAL.com is a benefit of the Statewide MLS only. Even if data sharing is enacted with the GFC CMLS, listings in the GFC CMLS system will not be sent to CTREAL.com. Only listings entered into the Statewide MLS MLXchange system are available on CTREAL.com.
Q: The Statewide MLS is working on a reciprocal access agreement with the Westchester-Putnam MLS?
A: Yes. We are in the technical stage of determining how to best enact reciprocal access between the Westchester-Putnam MLS and the Statewide MLS. Similar to our reciprocal agreement with the Rhode Island Statewide MLS, this agreement is not data sharing; it provides for read-only access to active listings in the reciprocal system. When implemented, Statewide MLS members will have the ability to log into the Westchester-Putnam MLS (and vice versa) to do active listing searches.
