Warm morning again. Enjoy it! Heavy rain entering Litchfield county.

You know me, warmth bores me. I'm more interested in Cold and Snow. I'm overwhelmed by the cold and snow records that are happening in Alberta and Montana. Are you guys ready for it? lol

Was that a warm front causing the burst of rain?

It was nice to have that last night, I think. I was at Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip, NY for Game 1 of the Atlantic League Championship. (Long Island beat the Sugarland Skeeters 7-5.) Feeling more like late August, not having to freeze my butt off, unlike almost two weeks ago in New Britain's home finale (it was 50 degrees at game's end).

While we had that sizable batch of rain in the morning in Middletown and Berlin, they didn't have it in Stratford. Went to pick up a friend there and saw that not one drop fell. It rained twice for us in central CT though. No showers or rain the rest of the day. Was getting fairly sunny by about the tunnel at the Hamden/New Haven line on CT Route 15.

Gee...I wonder where the cold front was on that map? Northeastern Massachusetts to that temperature southwest of Boston (Blue Hills Observatory?) makes that obvious. Loving the warmth while we have it! My friend's car said 83 when we left his apartment in Middletown after 1:30 pm or so.

Still upper 60s outside at 10:30pm. AC running like its Summer.

2nd snowstorm in the U.S this evening and not even mid Fall.

I can't wait until this night ends! Fall arrives!

Litchfield County, heads up Friday night
