You won't get much from this. We basically just had a windy day today, mostly overcast, with a few mists of rain here in Florida. The "worst" we got from it was about 10 minutes of heavy rain around 11 PM last night. PR got worse unfortunately with flooding.

all models have shifted slightly WEST again staying more on land. You know what this means for us??

Less rain but little more wind. We'll be on the east side of the storm now.

This is the Euro for Tuesday 8pm. See where the Tropical Storm is? Northern NJ. See where the heaviest rain is?

Just like a snowstorm, that 50 mile shift means everything in a forecast. We'll see

Euro 48hr precip total showing the Heaviest rain is Eastern PA/Western NJ,MA into Southern VT now. Good news for us. Don't have to worry about needing sump pumps with 4-6" of rain

Lol you could see it from the radar if you were watching. Most of the rain went west of us and into the NJ region. Lots of flooding reports down there from Fay.

Today was the day to do outside work before the storm but its another brutal miserable summer day I am stuck inside.

Isaias is about 115 miles South of Charleston, SC .. 993mb
Seeing reports of only 35-45mph wind gusts at the coast

NHC still says will be a Cat 1 at or near landfall. Look where the "T" is. The track isn't even over CT anymore. LMAO. Thank God its not snow, nobody uses the Bust word in summer. lolol

It does mean we're on the East side of it so winds are slightly stronger than a track right over us or east of us.

Is it just me (or maybe Covid), or there has been little hype for this storm relative to storms in the past? I mean, its supposed to hit here tomorrow, and everyone seems to be going about their business. Only today did I really start seeing the tweets and posts about it from the media.

There is an it's interesting because being on the east side of the storm now I see some of the "weather forums" I'm in on Facebook hyping up about us getting 80 mph winds (gusts I presume). I'm not counting it out but history tells me not to believe it.....
