Maple leaves are just browning up, no color. Birch is turning a nice yellow. But I don't think it's going to be a very picturesque fall

Sunset is now 6:41 PM and length of day is 12 h and 53 m.

Losing over 2 mins a day. I actually enjoy the earlier sunsets.

New Euro12z says we'll make up for the lost September precip this week.

This has been one of the best Septembers in past decade. Dry, not hot. Loving the clouds past 3 days

Do you mean 11 h and 53 m? Isn't it 12 hours give or take a minute on the fall equinox a few days ago and goes down from there?

It's all gradual until November. Then it hits you like a ton of bricks.

No complaints about the 60s in the morning but my eyes are fixed on the cold airmass dropping south from Canada. Amazing how that front was supposed to be here today, then tomorrow, now it's not until Wednesday-Thursday! WOW Talk about slow!

I think Teddy last week ruined the atmosphere and created a block in the Atlantic so the entire pattern slowed down.

Another warm and humid day today under mostly cloudy skies. A slight chance of a shower is also possible.

The temperature was bad but the humidity and Dew Points were so uncomfortable. We turned of the AC last week when the temps dropped but yesterday and last night were not comfortable so we turned it back on this morning. We will keep it on until the weather breaks again and stays there. Jay
