1. Arrows showing up are trees/wires down. I hope not happening for us but it's coming across.
2. Winds will go from south to west with cold front passing.
3. Main rain is done for us, some left over then maybe, Lake effect snow streamers?
4. Worst of winds will be after sunrise.

Oh so close! The Icebox of CT could add to their season total again but shouldn't be much?

It's 10°F at 4500' over Lake Ontario. 0°F at 10,000' over the lake. That's creating the lift needed and with the strong NW cold push its reaching near us.

So we are getting Lake Ontario effect snow streamers nearby

Got snow here

Edit - snowing quite a bit now, now it's quite regular and some decent sized flakes. It also put a stop to the temperature rise today, already down 2°F in the past 15 minutes

This. Weather. Blows. Too windy (and cold) for outdoor activities (esp important in the COVID era). Still not sure what underlying medical conditions exist for cold weather embrace. Ha!

And it's happened again. Tree fell across neighbors power line, going to lose power soon.

And of note, he's cut a lot of the healthy big trees next to the line. What fell was a dead small-diameter oak that snagged the tip of the line. Highlights my point made a few months ago, if you blindly cut trees within a certain distance instead of cutting smartly you end up with this ****show! And yet people still seem to advocate for that. Lol
