I am in an "elevated" area and as long as I don't have to snowblow or shovel it, I am good. Most importantly, I see temps in the 60s for next week. A one day blip of April snow won't bring me down

No thanks!!
We had about 5 inches last year on April 18. I have pictures of snow covered daffodils, tulips weren't up yet. Also, apple blossoms.

The daffodils and apples survived.

And re: snowstorm...

It's all about timing. Had this big Cold Vortex been 6hrs faster and the coastal storm 100 miles east more, we would of had the historic snowstorm in CT. NO DOUBT.

Can't always get every storm but just know how close this was for us.

Upper Low now centered over Northern NJ.

2-4" snow has fallen in NY, MA, VT so far. Snowing in parts of CT as well.

Hartford went from snow to rain as intensity let up. The hills of Litchfield and Windham are getting accumulations for sure. See the Vortex spin?

I'm in a Boston suburb, and yes, we got a few surprise inches (see pic)!

But--snow in April in at least the Boston area is not a shock. The last time it didn't snow in April was back in 2012, apparently!

Loop past 4hrs.

3-5" in Tolland County, CT.

4-8" in northern Worcester County, MA.
Boston reported sleet.

992mb Storm.

I had ice pellets before because of the Upper Low overhead creating instability. Its super cold air above our heads! (single digits!)
