That humidity this morning is killer. Made my 6 am run not so fun. I can't wait for this to break.

I know this tends to be localized, but I have received a ton of rain lately from various storm events. I will angrily lash out at anyone who tells me we are in a drought next week.

Today has been nonstop intermittent periods of insanely heavy rain.

Yea it's been very rainy today. So was Saturday. I think it would take a 3 wk dry spell to reach even minor drought conditions

At about 8am today there was a thunder boom that sounded like an explosion! So we got some rain and now it's just a dull day, coolish, kind of nice.

So............. Looking back at those 2 cold days May 29 & 30, 2021........ Here were the max temp departures those days... 20+ below normal

So I checked to see if it was a record.......... Sure was. At BDR and BDL.

And even more impressive both Hartford sites since 1905 too.. The 49° on May 29th broke the record and the 50° May 30th.

Also....... it was the latest date that the temp staying under 50°.

So in 116 years it never stayed under 50° after May 27th until this year.
