Future Radar loop from the NAM3km model. Clipper Snow moving in, scattered east of PA

This model is Hi Resolution and captures the I-95 areas in CT very well.

You can tell where the higher hills are from Vermont down to CT. Radar was showing it well yesterday

Satellite shows the snow cover down to the Connecticut NW hills with 3" of snow.

Was working in downtown Stamford, CT this morning and it started snowing lightly around 10am.

You can see the radar returns showing this nicely where I was. It was just a light snow shower. So anywhere you see the heavier blues on this radar is pretty much snowing at the surface. The rest is just flurries or nothing

We had flurries in Glastonbury too this morning. It wasn’t much of anything but definitely flurries. Jay

Some very, very slight accumulation (dusting on unpaved surfaces) in Fairfield that melted right after it stopped snowing.
