I fell asleep with my super heavy duty flashlight at bedside. Was expecting to be awakened by howling winds at least. I guess (happily!) the boundary layer mixing never occurred?

We lost power just before 3 am. Not expected back on till 11. Crazy winds.

My top wind speed was 24mph at 4am. My gauge probably isn't as high as it should be and I'm in a congested area, but still, 24 is not that much

From 60s to 40s within 3hrs with sun up

Danbury: 61° to 45°
NYC: 63° to 46°
Philly: 66° to 48°
Dover: 65° to 48°

Just arriving in Hartford... Enjoy the drop and the reminder its still winter. lol

Yeah, for "wind lovers" (if there are any) this was a big bust in most areas. Especially considering the advance hype by NWS (as early as Monday?). Of course, I'm thankful because losing power, especially this time of year, is awful.

Ha, am in Providence and fully expected to lose power and was hoping for no tree damage, with lantern on stand by. No need, but of course (only) a few thousand in RI did lose power. But better a bust than an overachiever, especially with winds or freezing rain or ...

My son in Danbury lost power for just a few minutes last night. My daughter at college in the Buffalo area did lose power for a couple of hours early last night.

27mph peak and not many gusts over 20mph

Took down my Christmas lights today.
