Only 5 yrs BDL went above 95° in May. 2 times in 1979

2010 and 1996 hold the record at 99°

Looking at the atmosphere anomaly for Saturday.. 588 heights is a mid summer thing. Jet stream pushing north and the heat dome builds. below normal in the Plains. What goes up....must come down somewhere else.

Unreal. Cool and drizzly 58 F here in the Boston suburbs. Felt like fall out there. At the same time, we have NWS tweeting out heat advisory guidance for this weekend!

Yeah....Is it me or is it hard to get widespread 60s in the MidAtlantic/Northeast this spring???

Seems like 50s & 70s dominates and there's only a slither of 60s

It's over now. 60s in June is very hard without clouds. So I guess I have to wait until October/November for 60s and sun. UGH!!

Short answer? No. My heat turned on this morning, for heaven's sake. Whatever happened to a smooth transition?

My backyard sunshine hours since April 19th..

Had a 7 day stretch of very little sun May 2-8.

Using 8hrs+ for a full sunny day looks like only 9 out of past 30 days.

Sunrise 5:30am
Sunset 7:09pm
(13.5hrs)
