Correct, your risk now is NOT more than it was 20 yrs ago. In fact your risk in the 1960s was more since Connecticut got hit with several in the 1950s

No real trend here.

Feels like a November NorEaster today with temps in the 50s and winds from the NE!

Rain missed us today, NJ been getting it all day.

Different level cloud directions very cool to see.

I believe it's still remnants of Ian

Look at those 50s!

Here's a look at October Temp departures each year since 2003. No surprise since recently its been called our "2nd Summer" here and Fall is only 1 month worth like Spring..

It's been since 2009 since the region had widespread cold. Last year was a torch fest.

Maybe 2022 will break the trend?? Feels that way

Looks like 2015 was normal-below normal for CT. BDR -0.6, BDL -1.0
2009: BDR -3.3, BDL -2.6

Did not expect this! And a big cold shot this weekend! WOW!

Today makes it 7 days in a row ending up below normal for Bridgeport, CT. Last time we had a 7 day below normal streak was June 18-24, 2022

April 24-May 4, 2022 was an 11 day streak
