Funny thing about Bridgeport, I work pretty much right in the environs of Sacred Heart Univ and take the Merritt west home to Westchester. At 2:30pm it started coming down really hard and sticking fast, even in a kind of clear, mushy way to the road (almost exactly like your picture which is pretty much almost the same spot on the map). Our building was allowed to leave a little early (like 2:45, I usually leave work about 3:15 or so). With all the white coming down and on the ground, I was shocked to learn later that just a few miles at the other end of Park Avenue (OK not literally, Sikorsky Airport on the Sound to be exact), RAIN was reported and it appears not even a "trace" was officially recorded at BDR today. Wow! (UPDATED: the 5pm daily climate report said no snow at all at BDR, but OKX's list of spotter reports and snow totals say they had a trace).

As for the Merritt home, road was completely wet, it was snowing until about Norwalk, then rain the rest of the way but solid cover on the ground until about the NY/CT border at Greenwich (which I later learned from my wife was snow covered too but already washed away by the rain after).
I find it so, so cool how right in our local area (going off weather underground stations, which I get aren't perfect) there's a roughly 2 degree difference in average annual temps between the coldest spots in town north of the Merritt and the extreme southeastern portions of the beach area.

Sometimes those two degrees matter a lot!!

Incredible.... Almost midnight January 25th and the temp and dewpoint are in the 50s
AND the electronic gauge captures over 1.50" of rain. Still more rain to go. NUTS!!!

Over 5 inches of rain this month. Over 12 inches since November 1st. only 1.3" of snow.

Midnight January 26th and it's in the 60s in Delaware and 50s across Long Island, Southern CT and NYC.

995mb Storm north of Lake Erie now.

The stronger the storm is near the lakes, the warmer the temps are for us. Big south push

Animation of the 5 big storms this month. Only 1 was true coastal but too close for a big snowstorm plus no Cold high to the north, the rest were Lake Cutters/transfers.

What are chances this activity continues into February?

Not to be a broken record but when a storm goes from the South towards the Great Lakes area WE ALWAYS get that return southerly flow which means warm and rain for us.

I've said this before, but you live in one of the worst spots. You should move to the lee of the Great Lakes, or VT/ME!

Fun observation--flying from Houston to Boston at the moment. Noting a tailwind of 160 mph, and a ground speed of 650 mph at 35K feet! Holy jet stream, Batman?
