See the reports? The rain is staying south of CT so far.

Snow is hanging in there. Didn't think it would last this long. Incredible

We went from Mountain type snow (16:1 ratios) to cement snow (< 8:1 ratios) within 7hrs. Glad I shoveled 3 times before it got so heavy.

3.4" here, 0.44" liquid. Switching back and forth snow and ice. Back edge almost here.

I put together this long loop compressed, with metars.
Jan 17-19, 2020

Even Minnesota, Michigan and Southern Ontario had mixing but most of CT & MA stayed all snow.
Cool event and looks like it might be the only snowfall for us until February.

Snow totals past 48hrs.

Source:

Pretty even distribution of snow with this one. Some local areas with 4-5" but mostly a 2-4" snow event for CT

18z GFS has a bit of backend snow. We'll have to see if the low stays around enough.
