So.................. I wanted to seal my driveway in April... too cool.
In May...Rain & work interfered.
In June...Work.
In July too hot, busy, tired...
In August too hot and busy but finally decided its time today with a Couple dry days ahead. Sun forecasted to come out today... Radar showed precip in NJ drying up and a cell missing to the south. Back edge was coming... I was good to go.........................

So I started...........

Spoiler

Midway it started raining....and raining....and raining..

This saying needs to be framed..

Have so many outdoor projects to do but there's always only a few windows of opportunity

Too cold, too snowy, too rainy, too wet, too windy, too hot, too humid, too busy, too tired, too lazy, too many mosquitoes/bugs, ect.

Beautiful Sunny cool morning. I see a lot of 40s out there 7am August 20, 2020. Coolest since about early-mid June for most of us.

Here in Lake George, NY waking up to mid 50s while its low 60s back home. This feels so nice!!

Btw... you guys ready for a real taste? We had a couple of quick tastes of fall but next weekend will be the 1st true one.

The jet stream is dipping south, the Canadian Air is pushing over us... the blues = a below normal air mass.

Dews in the dry 40s with daytime temps mostly in the 60s

Bring on the latest heatwave. Close to the record for 90 degree days at Bradley. Let's do this thing!

Another morning in the 70s. CRAZY!

For Summer (June 1 - August 31) The Record number of days where the low stayed 70° or warmer for Bridgeport, CT was 39. If todays low of 71° holds it makes it 36 days with 8 days left. (4 missing from Isaias but did not have a 70°+ low)

In the 1980s they were averaging only 16 in summer. Now we're getting a whole months worth of warm nights. Hopefully in the 2030s we'll go back to 1980s style lows when the Atlantic cools down into negative AMO phase..

See the similarities?
