Holding onto every last bit of summer I can. Ends on September 22nd at 9:30 am EDT.

Afraid to look at the drought monitor map now. New Britain mayor Erin Stewart noted how the Shuttle Meadow Reservoir was down to about 66%. Already asking residents to start conserving where possible.

If you want to know what the weather and pattern will be like, look above. Remember, TOP DOWN approach with weather.

Beautiful fall like days happened on 8/26, 8/30, & today 9/5 with a slightly below normal airmass aloft.
That's what we need.. Fronts to be south of us and a Jet stream that dips below NJ so the drier Canadian airmasses can come over us.

We'll warm back up after this -again- as an early snowstorm happens in the Rockies, and have to wait until the 15th for the next Fall like day according to the GFS

Naturally the sun is getting weaker so we wont need a very cold airmass aloft to give us these nice days but I'm hoping the Jet stream doesn't dip in the west a lot. (means we get a ridge and heat up)

Me too. We went hiking near mount pocono.
It’s 64 right now, going up to 85. The Labor Day weekend had the best weather I’ve seen in quite some time.
