The humidity fell off a cliff between 9-11 AM. It was still a bit gross when I first went outside today. It was nice and crisp only two hours later. Feels great, especially with the breeze.

Um, it’s not short lived. Summer seems to be permanently over by this weekend.

Even with the relative non-abundance of rain there are a lot of acorns around. Past few days squirrels have been climbing to the tree tops and shelling them, lots of empty nuts on the driveway right now.

I read that by the end of this week, dew points will go below freezing all the way down to Pennsylvania, so there is a possibility for frost across much of New England on a clear cloudless day. Highs may not make it to 60 in some spots. Hope you have harvested the heat loving fruits and vegetables by now.
