All snow here and accumulating.
10am-2pm loop Dec 1, 2019. Many locations changed from sleet to snow in CT. Mixed reports from NYC and Long Island.

INCOMING! If that's all snow, they need to put out a special weather statement or upgrade to a winter storm warning IMO. It'll be a sucker punch with the snow sticking already and sleet priming the ground.

Even if it's 15 minutes I think it warrants a Special Weather Statement. Those are pretty intense returns, road conditions would rapidly deteriorate under that

0.7" Snow/Sleet Total melted to 0.15" liquid. 5:1 Ratios here. Roads covered. Back to sleet now.

I think the radar is having trouble with this system (and not just the models). That heavy band went right over S Wilton and nothing fell from the sky. I’m firmly in the bust camp.
