This isn’t a highway or main road - these are neighborhoods. What an irresponsible suggestion.
You figure out when to do it like everyone else. In fact there are many times when people pass me.

My guess is the OP will be traveling during normal commuting times, which also happens to be when kids are out at their bus stop and people are walking their dogs. Not a good idea to encourage they speed through small town neighborhoods to make good time.

I think it would reliably take 45-60 minutes to travel between Shelton and Danbury. 84 does back up in Newtown, and 34 sees its share of leisurely drivers, but both are a total breath of fresh air compared to 95 on the coast.

Yes and the residents of Toddy Hill in Newtown have been increasingly complaining about speeders to the point there are discussions about adding stop signs and / or speed bumps.

This was my concern and was what I was told by my fiance. He was cautioning me against it since I complain about my commute now and suggested that I continue to search for opportunities closer to home or in Stamford since I already do that commute and can find options that are closer to the train station and that will pay more. This was SO informative though. Thank you!
