Agree. I swear, I heard less resistance to seat belt laws back in the day, and seat belts are far more uncomfortable than masks.

The freedom test will be in 12 days-Milford Oyster Festival day. If it gets 40k as usual, freedom won. If not, I expect huge financial losses for most involved, and , in all likelihood, smaller Oyster Festival spending in future years to come.

I'm guessing outdoor festivals will be fine. Didn't the Newport Jazz Festival take place recently?

I think it did, and hope to see a giant crowd in Milford.

Maybe the minority in New Haven itself, but there’s a big world out there where many, many [vaccinated] people are done with the moving of the goal posts based on subpar and selective information.

Oh please, there are people that had to wear masks for 8 hour work shifts while most of us lucky people got to work at home. Putting on your mask for 15 minutes to go into a store and shop around and whining about it is pretty ridiculous.

You can count me as one of those people who works a government job and had to go to work, wearing a mask, for 10 hours a day. Please don’t speak on behalf of us.

If you want to wear a mask as a fully vaccinated person, more power to you. I won’t be. And I won’t be going to any business that requires such.

I’m not some big mask advocate and I to prefer to not wear a mask but at the same time I’m not going to act like it’s some huge inconvenience that ruins my life. I said this before but if anything it’s respectful to wear my mask if the store employees are required to do so. They are usually making minimum wage and have to wear it all day, least I can do is wear it for 30 mins or less.

Everyone has a right to get upset/angry/pissed off about the things that bother them. Wearing a mask is low on my list.

Nobody here is calling mask-wearing an inconvenience. If that’s what you think, then you aren’t really getting the point, which has been explained ad nauseum.
