And under what law, amendment or precedent do you anticipate they will strike down businesses requiring vaccines for either customers or employees?

Let’s not suggest that CNN, MSNBC, or ABC are “objective”.
Amen. CNN, where a star anchor went into attack mode vs his brother's sexual assault victims. CNN did not even punish the anchor. Of course, they were the home of Candy "I'll give Hillary the questions in advance of debating" Crowley.

But to 7wishes and Jay’s point, Fox is just as bad on the other side with this pandemic. None of them report accurately.

For one it will be ruled a HIPPA violation. I have formally worked at self-insured corps btw, and NO ONE was allowed to see what medical services were provided, paid for by the employer, and including the patient's name. That is also a HIPPA violation.

100% correct.

They all are ratings pimps. Journalism died when Walter Cronkite retired.

Then George Stephanopoulos created a horrible precedent. Crossing from politics to media was not allowed previously. Networks guarded their independence. It was breached with this hiring. We then saw Bush's Communications Director go to Fox, McCain's campaign chair to MSNBC, etc. Horrible decisions by each network. Can my Mets hire umps for home games?

We all recall A M Rosenthal forcing a reporter's resignation for crossing ethical boundaries. It does not exist , sadly, in 2021. I stand with Rosenthal.

"If you sleep with the elephants, you can’t cover the circus” has developed into a newspaper adage. In 1977, it was discovered that New York (NY) Times writer Laura Foreman had been sleeping with Henry J. “Buddy” Cianfrani (1923-2003), a Pennsylvania state senator. Times executive editor Abraham Michael “A.M.” Rosenthal (1922-2006) called Foreman into his office, where she submitted her resignation.

As the link notes, it’s the rate for the past 7 days.

The supposed error was that the CDC reported weekend numbers as a one day number. Florida got a lot of bad press for a steep increase. It was corrected. It’s not the CDC’s fault the State of Florida refuses to do reporting like other states. It changes nothing. Jay

I agree and say that all the time. Both sides are biased. Jay

Me as well. I just look at the raw data from the state and make my decisions/ opinions based off that.

And Florida is 27th in Deaths/capita, we are 9th.

Deaths is the target to prevent. 600 or so deaths/day nationally is a very low number. That is a pretty steady amount we have been at for a few weeks now. Hospitalizations (ICU) a small fraction of 2020. This is great news!

Operation Warp Speed did its job. Thank you to all involved in that, from government to Big Pharma.

Fellow data, data, data fan.

Covid-19 is how I judge too, with the state I wish to peruse data from.

I also like the sites ranking deaths/capita by state.

I do not adjust totals for blindly following Cuomo's "guidance" like sheep, btw.
