A friend is considering a trip from New York to Boston, but is worried that she will find no lavatories open on route. Does anyone know the status of restrooms on I-95 within Connecticut? Thank you.

What's so hard about getting off at an exit and using a restroom at a store or restaurant?

Those are the ones most likely to be closed.

Or gas stations just off the highway. I believe those are all open.

Unless their website is wrong, according to the link I gave, the restrooms at service plazas are all open. Jay

It's hard to use a restaurant bathroom from the drive-thru. It takes good aim to pee through the window. Seriously, though, most fast food places are drive-thru only right now. They won't allow anyone in the building. McDonald's is the one most likely to still have counter service, but some of those have still closed their bathrooms.

I drive around the state every day for work and need to find bathrooms on the road. Most gas stations have closed off their restrooms during this time. The only one reliably open at the moment is Cumberland Farms.
