FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Fairfield police are asking for the public’s help to locate the driver in a deadly hit-and-run on Saturday evening.
Fairfield PD says that between 7:30-7:45 p.m., a pedestrian was struck and killed in the area of 2000 Redding Road.
The responsible vehicle is described as a Green Jeep Wrangler with its top off and doors on with a large American Flag flying from the rear of the vehicle. It was last seen traveling northbound on Redding Road at a high rate of speed.
The article says the woman killed was walking her dog. Anyone know if the dog made it?
I'm guessing the dog survived.....in the list of charges....
No mention of hitting a dog and not reporting it.
They cited him for tinted windows and no permit for such.
So they obviously are "throwing the book" at him.
I was shocked to hear he is an Easton Fireman, these guys run to help, this guy ran away. He was probably relieved when he heard the first description was a Dark colored Jeep, figures "Heck, I might get away with this"
