We are a young professional couple---soon to be a family--and looking for a moderate-priced condo outside of Hartford. We are currently in Southington which we like very much but condo selection is limited. One of us has a commute to Hartford. Need advice as to a great town for young families and posssible condo complex. Can anyone help?!

Price range? There are quite a few options, but they all vary based on price range.

Default condo price range

As to price, We are looking at $300,000 as the top range for a 3 bedroom condo but think that we can find something for less. Any ideas?

Farmington has several nice condominiums in your price range.
I can suggest Southwest Village condos. Condos(townhouses) in the middle of the block are about your price - ~$300 for the 3 bedrooms 3(or 2.5) baths and ~2000 sq.ft. + basement.
Great schools but morning traffic to the East is a bit annoying, taxes will be about ~$3500 I guess, close to Bristol shopping area.
