Thanks everyone!

Some good suggestions - new haven is a bit far, tho. Driving 1hr and 20 min for a loaf of bread is silly

For the bones:

Watertown Meat Center - marrow bones only
Stop & Shop on Chase Ave in Waterbury - marrow bones only
New Morning in Woodbury - called and they said yes
LaBonne’s - marrow bones only
GMart - see an address, but cant find a website/phone #

Thx.

For the sourdough bread have you tried Harvest Bakery in Bristol? It isn't too far and they do have bread.

New Haven is 35 min away?

Unless you mean round trip?

Huh? 35 min? Maybe from Naugatuck
People up here aren’t grocery shopping in New Haven. Both Danbury and Hartford are easier to access

Yes, from Naugatuck. That bakery is 38 min from me one-way.

No kidding. But people do go to New Haven for other reasons, and now the OP knows there’s a few options for sourdough if they’re there. Sheesh

And yes. 35 minutes. See attached. Do you have to argue everything?

Lol, well when the narrative on this board involves directing everyone to New Haven and Milford for everything, even when it’s not practical, then yes it’s going to be argued.

I get mine from Provisions on State in New Haven. New butcher that’s a little more high end, lots of grass fed products.

I think G Cafe in New Haven has sourdough. You could also try Apicella’s, which is a very popular Italian bakery. Not sure they’ll have it, but they’re excellent.

Scratch Baking in Milford is also incredible but I haven’t seen sourdough there.
Provisions on State is indeed excellent. They make a heck of a sandwich, too. If you go there, grab a coffee or some beans at The Coffee Pedaler a few doors down.
