Well, they certainly tried to pretend with a "Kids Menu"....
I take my staff out to lunch. One guy loves the wings at Hooters.
Myself, find the food horrible there. But fine let's go.
See family there with young kids!!
Just so much wrong there.... feel bad for the wife, the kids...
Like a bad sit-com, came to life.....
That lot is for sale. The developer died during the beginning stages of construction.
I wish Milford would buy out whatever equity Ho Jo's and the developer's estate has, clear it, grade it, flip it. They could easily do that property and M & M Farms at a smaller total investment than when the city bought the Jai Alai property which was more than a 10 million dollar outlay. I think the city would profit from it, just as they did from the jai alai property.
These are the worst eyesores in town, by far.
Ho Jo's has perfect I95 access.
I also think, after buying jai alai, the city has no logical argument against an investment on their end.

Write to the city/Ben Blake. They're usually pretty responsive to notes.
Well Fairfield Zoners denied Chik-fil-A’s application to build a new restaurant on the Post Road. The reason for the denial was traffic. Also mentioned was the application was not to scale or in harmony for downtown.
No word if they will appeal the denial but I’d be surprised if they didn’t. Traffic can be ambiguous especially in high traffic areas like this. Scale and harmony are also questionable since there are other fast food places nearby like McDonald’s and Dutchess. Seems arbitrary to deny it. Will see. Jay

It's a major stretch to call that downtown. The property was already a crappy chain and a Chick-Fil-A definitely fits in with the other businesses there.

Probably the smart move. Drive-thru spillover would greatly impact an already congested Rt 1 there given the continued indoor dining closure policy made even more bizarre in that it's a GOP abiding organization.
The Danbury outfit is in a mall so that doesn't impact traffic. The Norwalk one has a large adjacent lot that brings all the drive-thru off the roadways. It's a perfect setup. The Fairfield location wouldn't have that luxury. Good move.
Yeah, every chain you can imagine including donuts and pizza within earshot. Dumb excuse, no question.

I doubt it because of traffic Fairfield residents don’t want craziness Chick fil A will bring.
