Stamford area residents are getting taste of New Haven pizza.

Could Fairfield, West Hartford, Shelton, Madison be next locations ?

New Haven pizza restaurant, Sally’s Apizza, is expanding.

It will open up a location on Summer Street in Stamford this summer.

Sally’s said the pizza in Stamford will be the same as it is in New Haven. The new location will allow for more outdoor seating as well as seamless pickup, takeout, and delivery. There will also be a full bar in the establishment.

I expect it to be like the Pepe's chain.

Same ingredients, but lacking the skill, the magic of an aged oven, and New Haven's tap water. Close, but not the same.

It'll probably still be the best pizza in Stamford.

I’m sure it’ll be way better than Colony. Bleh.

I like Colony. It's its own thing.

But yes. 100%.

Sally’s was supposed to open it’s first branch in the SoNo Collection in Norwalk. Not sure what happened to that plan. They were also supposed to open a place in the Trademark Building in Fairfield. Again nothing on that either. Jay

Agreed, but I still want to try it. Due to geography, I've only had Sally's a couple of times in my life.

Not only is Sally's Apizza the best pizza in Stamford. It's the best in the whole area. Already. They haven't even set a table yet. They can import New Haven tap, from a garden hose if that's what it takes.
This area sorely needs more Italians, get back to basics. Enough with these Irish and Greeks. Stay in your lanes.
