I will be visiting Connecticut next month and I am looking for recommendations for a hotel near Yale New Haven Hospital. I'll be driving, so I'm looking for a hotel with free parking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd go with Courtyard by Marriott in Orange. Within 100 yards of exit 41, I95, makes trip very short. Free parking.

Outback Restaurant right in front of hotel.

Hilton Garden Inn and Hyatt Place in Milford are right by exit 40.

If you use Priceline, in Milford East region, they are the only 3 rated 3 stars in the zone, so any deal in zone, 3 stars will be one of them.

ALL have free parking. HGI , pre covid anyway, had 5 mile free guest shuttle, btw. Yale is > 5, though.

All very nice.

Are you just going for the hospital? You’ll have to pay for parking there anyway.

There’s a few nice hotels walkable to the hospital but you’ll pay for parking. You’ll have to weigh the total costs and convenience.

Blake Hotel, The Study, and the Graduate are all new and very nice.

The Marcel opens soon. But I don’t think next month. That will likely have free parking too.

I’d agree with Bob’s hotels if you don’t mind driving/parking. There’s another new one on exit 41, Homewood Suites.

I’ve also stayed at Hampton Inn in Milford. Cheap and clean. Does the job.

I’ve had friends from out of state stay at the Suites at Yale New Haven while visiting sick family at the hospital. It’s two short blocks from the hospital so you can walk it. I’m not sure how pricey it is or if they charge fo4 parking but they did like it and stayed there a couple times. Jay

How close do you need to be? Hilton Garden Inn in Wallingford looks like a deal at $109 on Priceline.
