Meg Ryan as a kid grew up in Fairfield but when her parents divorced moved to Bethel for high school. Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn) graduated from Newtown High School. The football field was named for him. There was an effort to remove his name from it. Not sure if they did. Jay

I imagine James Blake, the tennis player, has been mentioned. He grew up in Fairfield and the tennis courts at Fairfield Warde have been named after him.
Have you seen this?

Michael Weatherly grew up in Greenfield Hill and went to Fairfield Country Day School before going off to boarding school. His family has money. His father lives in one of those big beautiful old homes on Southport Harbor and owns the company that imports Swiss Army Knives into the US which is based in Monroe. It’s nice to see that Micheal hasn’t forgot his hometown.

There are a number of famous people with ties to Fairfield. Leonard Bernstein and Richard Rodgers had homes there as did Jason Robards. Harlem Globetrotter basketball legend Meadowlark Lemon and his family lived on Fairfield Woods Road. Their driveway is now a private road named Lemon Drive.

Actor Justin Long grew up in Fairfield. He was in the NBC show Ed and movies like Dodgeball, Jeepers Creepers, Herbie Fully Loaded and The Breakup. He was the voice of Alvin in a number of Chipmunk movies. Justin’s father was a professor at Fairfield University and his mother a local teacher and hs brother is a teacher in Weston. Jay

There is so many people from Stamford it's kind of too hard. My dad was friends (went to school with) with Andy Robustelli who played for the Giants and is in the Hall of Fame. When I was young I lived near Bobby Valentine (on the West Side) the baseball player who is running for Mayor of Stamford.

Jackie Robinson lived in Stamford for many years as did Gilda Radner and Gene Wilder lived in Stamford. I am not sure if you are including people who were not born here.

I know Dave Brubek the jazz pianist lived in or near Darien because I used to see him in Post Corner Pizza.
