I’m not sure if anyone here is following this but Yale grad student Matt Amodoio has won 29 games and over $1 million so far. He’s pretty amazing and is now the third largest Jeopardy Champion behind Ken Jennings and James Houlzhower. He’s pretty amazing. Anyone agree? Jay

Very cool.

“Amodio also earned the recognition of Gov. Ned Lamont, who told the returning champion via video chat that he was showing “how smart we are in Connecticut.”

This was sort of a funny thing to read, though, considering he’s from Medina, OH and a graduate of Ohio State.

He seems to be incredibly fast with some of his answers, definitely savant level intelligence in numerous knowledge categories.

He is. They don’t say he is from New Haven because he doesn’t live there. He’s even written a letter to the editor about why he loves Connecticut. Very wise man. Jay

The title should be “why I love New Haven.”

His option piece is more of his love of trivia and then says “New Haven is lively, I made friends, and the pizza is great.” He met Lamont. I just think it’s funny that it’s called why I love CT. My guess is the dude never left New Haven.

Seems like cheap publicity stunt on CT part.
