Are motorists allowed to move from one turn bay into the next, if the second one is on the other side of an intersection?

If I am the car with the red X (lower right), can I proceed along the red arrow's path, or can I not move into TB#2 until after I have cleared the intersection?

The arrow in the first turn bay and the lane use signs at the intersection requires you to turn left at that intersection. If you were allowed to go straight in the left lane the pavement marking arrow and lane use signs would have an arrows going straight as well as left. Jay

It’s a lane from which you make a turn. You could have a left turn bay or a fight turn bay or both. Jay

No, you are not allowed to do that. If you are in a left turn bay, that means you must turn left at that intersection. If you were allowed to go straight to the next intersection, there would be a straight arrow as well.

Never heard that term before. It's always been a turn lane.

From what I'm seeimng, looks like you are entering a lane marked for "Left turns", and proceeding straight instead....not a move I would make because someone in that right lane may move to the left lane after the intersection to get around slower traffic and WHAM !, you are now exchanging info....and paint
